Itinerary
Day 1: Welcome to Alaska! Upon arrival, a friendly driver will greet you at the airport and transport you to your accommodations. In the evening, join us for an engaging welcome slideshow, designed to excite and prepare you for the incredible journey ahead.
Day 2: Our adventure begins! We’ll gather in the morning for a breathtaking, weather-dependent scenic flight, whisking us away to our exclusive private vessel. Our boat-based accommodations provide unrivaled access to the coastal regions, where exceptional bear photography opportunities await.
Days 3-8: Immerse yourself in the world of bear photography! With extended summer daylight, we’ll have ample time to explore the Katmai Coast in pursuit of the perfect shot. Our itinerary spans three days longer than most expeditions in the area, offering you an abundance of time to capture the images you’ve always dreamed of.
Day 9: After one final morning of bear photography, we’ll embark on a picturesque flight back to Kodiak, bringing with us memories to last a lifetime.
Day 10: As our journey concludes, we’ll bid farewell to our newfound friends and depart for home in the late afternoon.
Physical Requirements: Moderately Strenuous. Participants should be prepared to walk a minimum of 4 miles in chest waders while carrying camera equipment, traversing uneven and slippery terrain.
