ULTIMATE ALASKA

10 DAYS – KODIAK & KATMAI NATIONAL PARK, ALASKA

 Tour Details

Just as the name suggests, our Ultimate Alaska photo tour is an epic adventure specifically designed to fully immerse participants in all of Alaska’s grandeur. Our privately chartered vessel will take you into the heart of Alaska’s surreal wilderness where the largest congregation of grizzly bears in the world roam.

Participants will photograph grizzly bears and cubs as they wade through thick fields of wildflowers, puffins and eagles in-flight from close range, rafts of sea otters floating together in the cool blue water, wolves, stellar sea lions, moose and more!

Your adventure will begin in Kodiak, Alaska.  The following day we will embark on our journey to the Katmai Coast as we board a small plane and enjoy a scenic flight over massive volcanos, and stunning mountain peaks.

Our private vessel will be our home for the next several days and give us the ability to go where the bears are. Each morning and afternoon we will zodiac to shore allowing us to photograph the largest bears on the planet earth from eye-level with stunning backdrops of Katmai’s countryside.

At all times, we’ll be led by an expert bear guide for safe and exciting encounters.  Given the small group size you’ll also receive plenty in-field photographic instruction from Aaron when desired.

Come with us on this Alaska photo tour and photograph all the beauty Alaska and its great wilderness has to offer.

Testimonials

“I’ve done a lot of nature/wildlife photography over the years but this was by far the best experience I’ve had.  Everything about this trip was absolutely superb: the organization, Aaron’s leadership, the accommodations, and of course, the bears!  I would highly commend it to anyone interested in a trip of this type.” 2 time Aaron’s Photo Tours Participant

Aaron's photo tours

“The Alaska Brown Bear Tour far exceeded all expectations. Aaron is an excellent tour leader. In addition to being a nice guy, Aaron is invested in every tour attendee’s success during the tour. He works with everyone to improve composition and to ensure optimal camera settings for each situation. Our naturalist guides were also great. Accommodations, food, and travel logistics were expertly handled. We pushed hard throughout the trip, due to excellent weather and wildlife conditions, and that ensured everyone had numerous, great opportunities to photograph the wildlife we were looking for.  I can recommend this trip without reservation to anyone seeking to photograph bears and other Alaska wildlife.” 2 time Aaron’s Photo Tours Participant
