ALASKA BALD EAGLES

6 DAYS – HOMER, ALASKA

In winter’s grandeur, thousands of Bald Eagles congregate along the shores of Alaska in pristeen wilderness.  Here the scenery is indescribable, and the birds are approachable.

Join us on an incredible adventure and allow our pre trip scouting and extensive experience at these locations give you the opportunity to take the best bald eagle photographs you have ever taken.  All while increasing your knowledge of how to photograph these iconic birds.  Each day you will receive subject specific photography guidance followed by personalized photo review.

Your focus will be to photograph a variety of bald eagle behaviors including the legendary “eagle catching a fish” shot.  We commonly witness this behavior at frame filling distances on this trip.  Our custom outfitted privately chartered motorized boat gives us private access to secluded spots and the best locations from eye level.  We also commonly see close up fly-by’s, incredible territorial battles, and congregations in snow covered trees characteristic of only the Pacific Northwest, truly one of the worlds top locations for bald eagle photography.

“My wife and I have been on numerous photography workshops over the years and can easily say that Aaron’s Bald Eagles of the Pacific Northwest workshop is right up there at the top.  Morning to night action between in-the-field, hands-on guidance and help, classroom-style instruction, and personal one-on-one reviewing and analyzing of your personal results all add up to a powerful photographic learning experience.  A gratifying experience.  We would join Aaron again in a heart-beat, and so should you.”
